Grape and Grain is an American wine bar and restaurant located at 620 E 6 th St in the East Village of New York City. Providing delicious domestic wines from small batch producers throughout the country, our beverage program highlights truly local wines. From dry Rose’s from the North Fork of Long Island, to bubbly champenoise method whites from New Mexico, Grape and Grain aims to highlight the sometimes underappreciated yet delicious wines of the United States in a relaxed, rustic, neighborhood atmosphere.
The food menu from Executive Chef Adam Rule also focuses on domestic ingredients, serving refined yet rustic dishes made entirely from scratch. Handmade pastas, house made foccacia breads, local cheese and charcuterie boards with house made pickles are some highlights from a seasonal, ever-evolving menu focused on locality and sustainability. We are open for dinner 6 nights a week Tuesday –Sunday 5pm – Midnight, and look to launch our much anticipated weekend brunch program at the end of April.
Grape and Grain has been an East Village staple for the past 12 years, offering a warm and welcoming environment, with well-curated wine, beer, and cider. Recently under new ownership, the next generation of Grape and Grain will strive to pay homage to the neighborhood-feel of the original establishment, with a renewed focus on sustainability, and delicious American comfort food made from scratch in an all induction kitchen.
